Praying Mantis

Here are two different photos of the same mantis from our trip to Palm Springs. They were actually taken over two hours apart from each other, using different lenses. This interesting insect actually stayed on the deck of the condo all day and only moved on sometime during the night.

Camera: Canon EOS 60D, Exposure Time: 1/6400, Aperture: f/2.8, ISO: 100, Focal Length: 50mm

If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!
