Today’s featured African animal is the Hippopotamus. Apparently the name comes from ancient Greek and means ‘river horse’. Despite the name, they are more closely related to whales than horses. They are vegetarian, but one of the most dangerous of the African animals due to their aggressive territorial nature.

Squeals!!! He can sleep in my closet in the bedroom. Oh my pig!! I WANT. It would be so much fun. And he eats most of the same things I do…. and perhaps sleeps as much – snorts and rolls with laughter. XOXO – Bacon
