Aurora Borealis (three photos)

Lately there’s been some aurora sightings in the area. Unfortunately, they’ve been on cloudy nights and/or just too late for a guy with a day job to go out and see. Hopefully I’ll get the chance again one of these days. In the meantime, here are a few shots I managed to take a couple of years ago.

If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!

  1. So cool. I remember the time my southern cousins were up visiting and saw the northern lights for the first time – they were totally freaked out and thought a nuclear bomb went off or something ( we were “up north” – about 70 miles north of Green Bay, WI- and it’s funny telling a Canadian our description of “up north”…lol- anyway they really thought Green Bay was under attack.)

    • Haha, that is funny. I could understand it if they were seeing it for the first time and had never heard of it before, but you’d think they would have at least heard of it?
