I’ve tried a few times to get a nice shot into the sun where it ends up as a small star-burst in the photo. Until now they’ve usually ended up with lots of lens flare and/or just being blown out. This time it turned out much better. I’m not sure what the difference was, as I used a small aperture previously as well. Maybe the higher ISO setting, or getting the sun partially obscured by the branch. Either way I’m pretty happy with how this shot turned out.

Like the complimentary colours. Used various apertures, it works for me when I partially obscure the sun with the branches … Enjoy our beautiful weather!
