Yellow warbler at Elk Island

Here’s two photos of a little yellow warbler I saw at Elk Island National Park. I think he must have been fairly young, because he was staying on the ground and letting people get pretty close to him before flying off just a short distance.

Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia)

If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!

  1. I really like your bird pictures. We share some of the same species and you make even the common redwing look exceptional. ๐Ÿ™‚
