Butterflies

For the holiday yesterday, my wife and I went to visit the Devonian Botanical Gardens a little ways outside of Edmonton. It’s a big park setting with all sorts of different zones dedicated to different types of flora. Kind of like a zoo for plants. There are also a few areas that are indoors where they keep some more tropical varieties. One of these rooms is also a butterfly room, which is where I got these photos.

If you enjoy my photographs please consider making a purchase. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to help support our friends volunteering at the Seed of Hope in South Africa which is a great organization really making a difference in the community. Every little bit makes a difference, even a small digital download for your desktop!

    • Thanks! Yeah I love shots with shallow dof, have to really nail the focus though, so it can be tricky sometimes, especially with moving subjects like these.
