First Lake (Valley of the Five Lakes Countdown)

Well, if you’ve been reading my posts this week I know what you’re thinking right now. What happened to the Second Lake? The truth is, it was practically empty and a dull non-colour, so I didn’t take a photo of it. I hope that doesn’t ruin anybody’s week ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, the final lake in the countdown is obviously the First Lake. This is the largest of the five lakes, which is probably why it is also the least colourful. Shallower lakes tend to show that a little more than deeper lakes do. So, in conclusion I would have to say that this was a really nice hike and I definitely recommend it if you are ever in Jasper and have a few hours to spend.

  1. Steve, we enjoyed your tour of the lakes. I’m not sure if we’ve ever been there ourselves. Will have to explore the next time we’re there…
