Black Bear in Jasper

Here is a black bear we saw just after entering Jasper on Saturday. He was right on the side of the road so I was able to get nice and close with my zoom lens. However, he was so intent on eating dandelions that he would hardly look up at all the cars that were stopped to watch him. I could use this guy in my back yard for a while…

    • I know it’s so unpredictable. We’ve gone to Jasper lots of times without seeing one and then this time he’s right there on the side of the road in no hurry to go anywhere.
