When I was a kid, we had a subscription to National Geographic’s World magazine. The back cover always had a ‘What in the world’ feature which was usually a macro shot of something so close that it was hard to tell what it was. I always enjoyed those, so here’s one of my own for you. I just took this photo yesterday evening. See if you can guess where it came from. The only hint I’m giving at this time is that I rotated it 90 degrees from how it actually existed.

Ok, it’s ice, but where?
Hello, is this thing on? I was really hoping for more than 1 guess considering I got 22 likes, but oh well. It was ice buildup on the side of our car driving home in the snow. It was below freezing, but still wet on the roads, so when the spray hit the car it froze in those interesting shapes.
And I had just finished saying that no way would it be on your car, LOL
You need to do an easier one for people to guess 😉
Yeah and I think the other thing is most people are just liking it from the reader where they see the picture without actually coming in and reading the whole article. Oh well, maybe something to try again when I have a lot more people following the blog…
