Muttart Conservatory in Edmonton

Decided to visit the Muttart Conservatory today after being reminded of it by a friend. I realized I had never actually been there even though I’d lived in Edmonton since 1985. It was interesting, although the ‘Feature’ pyramid with its winter theme was more than a little over-poinsettia’d. The smell and humidity of the Temperate and Tropical pyramids were a very nice change from the winter outside. The Arid pyramid was also nice, reminding me of Palm Springs and New Mexico. Here’s a handful of the shots I took, please feel free to click on them if you would like to see them in a larger size.
