Another must-see on Kauai is Wailua Falls. The height of the falls is a little difficult to guess from this photo, but it is about 173 feet. There was quite a high volume of water going over the falls when we were there in November. A Google image search will show you many photos with much less water. This also meant that there was a lot of dirt in the water so the falls had brown streaks in them. I decided to convert to black and white to make that not so obvious. Plus, waterfalls just generally tend to look good in black and white.
